Shreya & Ashish have been the dream couple – warm, loving, and full of life – everything a wedding photographer could ask for. From their proposal shoot in Mussoorie to their grand riverside celebrations in Bangkok, being part of their journey was truly special.
This was a wedding that had it all – a yacht party on the Chao Phraya River, a Caribbean-style mehendi, Oktoberfest-themed haldi, and a regal Thai-inspired wedding entry. Every detail reflected Shreya & Ashish’s personalities and their love story.

The Proposal
“Our story began in September 2018 when our parents introduced us. What was meant to be an arranged meeting turned into instant chemistry, and we knew we were meant to be. Ashish, being a jeweller, designed the perfect sunflower ring for me – something I’ll treasure forever. During our pre-wedding shoot in Mussoorie, he went down on one knee on a cliff overlooking the mountains, with Ramit capturing it all. It was the most magical proposal I could have imagined.” – Shreya
The Celebrations in Bangkok
6th July 2019 – Welcome & Yacht Party Guests were greeted at Shangri-La with dhol, chilled beer, and Thai massages before heading to a riverside welcome lunch. The evening set sail on a private cruise along the Chao Phraya River, where tuxedos, gowns, music, and dancing under the stars made for a glamorous start.
7th July 2019 – Mehendi & Sangeet
The day was a Caribbean carnival with pool floats, exotic cocktails, and live music by Los Latinos and Ramona Girls. Shreya’s mehendi was deeply personal, with motifs from baraat to doli and even skylines of Delhi and Dubai. The night transitioned into a dreamy Sagan & Sangeet, where the couple and their families danced their hearts out. DJ Vicky took the after-party into the early hours with nostalgic Bollywood hits.
8th July 2019 – Haldi, Chooda & Oktoberfest
An Oktoberfest brunch with Bavarian beer and cocktails set the mood before the Haldi. What began as an emotional ritual soon turned into a playful riot when Ashish stormed in, painting everyone yellow. The bright décor in blue and yellow only heightened the joy.
Wedding Evening
Ashish made his baraat entry in a vintage car, while Shreya arrived in a traditional Thai boat on the Chao Phraya River, a truly breathtaking moment. Under a floral mandap by the river, they exchanged varmalas, followed by a reception dinner, cake cutting, first dance, and finally the pheras. Every moment was filled with love, laughter, and elegance.
The Memories
From emotional haldi moments to fun-filled sangeet dances and the magical boat entry, every detail was captured beautifully. “Every picture reflects joy in its purest form. Ramit didn’t just capture moments, he captured emotions. Having him around felt like family, and that’s what made it so seamless,” says Shreya.
