A British Marwari – Iskcon Temple Wedding

Incredible India, indeed! This wedding was the perfect cultural mix — a British-Marwari bride marrying a half-Parsi, half-Bengali South Bombay boy at the stunning Iskcon Temple, Mumbai. A close-knit, soulful, and vibrant family celebration that was as unique as the couple themselves.
If you’ve followed my work, you may remember Neha & Kunal from their Picnic-Beach-Guitar-Polaroid Pre-Wedding Shoot — and now, here’s the story of their wedding!

About the Couple
Kunal Bose is an engineer-turned-musician and one of the most popular guitar teachers in Bombay. With his gentle disposition, humor, love for motorcycles, and undying loyalty to Manchester United, he has a way of winning everyone over.
Neha Jiwarajka is a photographer and fitness instructor who lives for travel, adventure, and anything that pushes her out of her comfort zone. When not working, you’ll find her singing, belly dancing, or painting.
How did they meet? Well, Kunal was actually Neha’s guitar teacher! What started as giggles during lessons turned into coffees, then dates — and eventually, the realization that they were more perfect for each other than ice cream with chocolate sauce.

The Celebrations
Sangeet – NSCI Palace Hall
A night of music, dancing, and joy, where Neha dazzled in Nidhi Tholia. Ramit’s team even reworked the stage lighting to make everything look picture-perfect — and the energy was electric.
Wedding – Iskcon Temple, Babulnath
The wedding ceremony at Iskcon was everything Neha had dreamed of — spiritual, intimate, and deeply meaningful. She looked regal in Shyamal & Bhumika, while Kunal complemented her perfectly in a kurta by Xerxes Bhathena. The mandap’s setting within the temple created a serene yet grand atmosphere.

Reception – Aqaba, Mumbai
For the reception, the vibe shifted to contemporary elegance. With decor by Gaurav Seksaria and Neha’s stunning Gaurav Gupta gown, the evening was stylish, warm, and full of laughter. The night was a true reflection of South Bombay charm.

The Bride on Her Wedding Photography Experience
“Where do I begin? I called Ramit to check his availability even before my official proposal! Every step of planning, I asked for his input — from decor colors to outfit details — and he was always so creative and helpful. Being a photographer myself, I’m extremely picky, but I knew even before meeting Kunal that if I ever got married, Ramit had to shoot my wedding.
He made us feel so relaxed, captured our real selves, and exceeded my expectations in every way. My friends and family still use his photos as their profile pictures! Honestly, Ramit wasn’t just our photographer — he was like a friend, a bridesmaid, and a rockstar artist rolled into one.”
